Professional Experience
Claire earned a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies from the University of Oregon, with a focus in Latin and Ancient Greek. Prior to law school, Claire worked as a legal assistant at a law firm in the Portland, Oregon area.
Claire attended law school at Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. While in law school, Claire was a Smithmoore P. Myers Teaching Fellow. Throughout law school, Claire also worked as a law clerk for a firm in Lake Oswego, Oregon, practicing real estate law and land use as well as insurance defense.
After law school, Claire worked in the public sector for local non-profit organizations, promoting policy reform in Oregon ballot measures and propositions. In November 2023, Claire joined SKH as an Associate Attorney.

Professional Activities
Claire is an active member of the Oregon State Bar. She is also a member of the Oregon New Lawyers Division.
Community Involvement
Claire was a part of Esperanza Dance Project, an Arizona non-profit organization providing support to survivors of childhood and domestic violence.
Claire has been involved in politics since a young age and has worked on multiple political campaigns since she was high school. As she grew older, she became more involved in the public policy side of politics, focusing on legal reform.
While in undergrad, Claire spent time volunteering with National CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) as well as CASA of Lane County, providing support for children and youth who have experienced abuse or neglect in local communities and foster care. Claire also volunteered as a mentor with the Eugene School District Middle School Mentor Program, where she helped students who were experiencing difficulty in school.
During her second and third year of law school, Claire volunteered at the Lincoln LGBTQ Rights Clinic and the Catholic Charities Immigration Clinic, where she provided legal assistance in various legal matters relating to family reunification, humanitarian protection, and family law.
Interests
Claire has spent the past 10 years as a competitive rock climber and enjoys climbing in every form, whether it be outdoors or indoors. When she isn’t climbing, Claire enjoys spending time with her cat, Barca, and her family and friends. Claire is always striving to learn new crafts and skills; currently, she is learning how to speak Danish.
